One of the best Bahn Mi’s I’ve ever had. It’s up there with the best in philly. The pork skin rolls are also excellent!
Pho South Corner is hands down one of my favorite spots! I work right next door, so I come here pretty often, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and hits the spot every time. And the drinks… SO good. The smoothies are especially amazing — super refreshing, perfectly blended, and just the right amount of sweetness. I honestly crave them during my workday. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to check this place out. Highly recommend!
Pho South Corner is me and my fiancé’s go to place in the area. I absolutely love viet food and everything I’ve tried here is good. Always get the pho when I come here, but sometimes I spoil myself with the banh mi too. We tried the viet iced coffee this time and we were very pleasantly surprised. The coffee was not too sweet which happens sometimes with other places, and you still got the nice depth of coffee flavor in it. Not to mention, the staff here is very friendly.
I came into Philly with a friend and no particular plans so when we found parking on South Street right outside this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. I'm all about trying new things and I've never had Pho so I chose the top round beef. We had beef fried rice, chicken dumplings, and veggie spring rolls for apps. Everything was cooked fresh and was hot and so tasty. The portions are so large that you can take them home for another meal! The servers are polite and do not rush you at all. My friend and I spent 3 hours talking and enjoying our meals. We had such a nice time that we forgot about parking and got a ticket 😆 I would recommend this restaurant for tasty, fresh food!
I stumbled across this restaurant while visiting Philly and walking up South Street, I decided to drop in for dinner. I got the Vermicelli noodle bowl (shredded and grilled pork). I cannot state just how delicious the dish was! The ingredients were fresh. The portion size very substantial, I almost … almost could not eat it all. The appetizers were delicious as well. I’ve been to a number of restaurants that specialize in Vietnamese cuisine… this place has far exceeded them all. Oh, not to mention, the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be back whenever I am in the City of Brotherly Love!
We came to Pho South Corner to have breakfast in Philadelphia and it offers an authentic Vietnamese dining experience. Beyond Pho the menu have other items like Com Tam, Bun bo, Mi xao gion and many others. I love the Cơm Tấm ☺️ The ambiance is cozy, and the staff is noted for their hospitality, making diners feel welcomed. He’s a lovely guy. While the space can become crowded, we find the wait to be worthwhile. For those seeking Vietnamese cuisine in Philadelphia, Pho South Corner is a commendable choice
The soup noodles are super delicious, and the owner is very nice! The restaurant is located on South Street. We went on Friday, and it wasn't crowded. It was quiet and clean. The kids loved the hot soup noodles. We also ordered a salad, but the taste wasn't quite to our liking. If you want to eat vegetables, you can try the stir-fried dishes with rice; they looked great. I'll try them next time.
This family owned restaurant offers absolutely delicious food! Finding a cozy and homely place to enjoy a meal was a delightful surprise. The ambiance was pleasant and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. It's been a while since I've encountered such genuinely positive attitudes and warm hospitality towards customer! The friendliness and smiles made a remarkable difference to me! The food itself was truly a treat! The Dry Vermicelli with beef was faultless, with its well put together flavors and impeccable presentation. The accompanying spring rolls were indescribably delicious! Just a word of caution: the portions are quite generous, so be prepared. We also ordered the banh mi (baguette with meat) and the summer shrimp rolls, both of which were equally tasty. I also tried the mango/pineapple smoothie. I can honestly say it was one of the best smoothies I have ever had. The drink was perfect as it disappeared within seconds - that's how delicious it was! I was surprised by the actual pineapple pieces in the drink. Normally, I'm not a fan, but this time, I appreciated the refreshing touch. All in all, this restaurant is an excellent choice, whether you dine in or opt for takeout. Additionally is BYOB type of place. Visited in June 2023. Paid by card.
